Exploring green logistics practices in freight transport and logistics: a study of biomethane use in Sweden

Logistics networks need to conform arising market trends and public requirements for greening freight transport through a series of Green Practices (GLPs). This study sets out explore the use fossil-free fuels as GLP possible influence on business strategy system design. A literature review was conducted which concluded that about is limited. An explorative interview further biomethane among actors in logistics networks. Customers increasingly request green typically accepting moderately higher prices transport. Development services predominately driven by corporate stakeholders internal initiatives, while regulation appeared have weak influence. The revealed new insights into how GLPs can relate each other.
